Isn't Tapatalk just a mobile phone app, so you can post from your mobile. I used it while I was away, but it uses a lot of data, so shut it down.

Ive not used it. Is it any good? I use Safari on the iphone for Fruits and it automatically uses the mobile version but it doesnt allow me to pinch and increase the screen size so its a bit small to read.

Same problem Barry. Hence i wanted tapatalk. But it seems there is one default smilie regardless of what you choose which on desktop appears as 4 question marks. Using desktop on iPhone is impossible. So I shall remain emoji less for the most part.

I had never heard of 'tapatalk' so just Googled it and on their website found this
"Grow your revenue (and avoid Ad Blocking apps)"
If it avoids Ad blocking it is not for me - allowing Ads when using a mobile could bump up download Mbs - no thanks.

Thats the free one Geoff. You can cough uo a couple of Euros and the ads bugger off. Its very useful if you want to post photos from a mobile device as resizing is an issue on the desktop.

Geoff Even if one's bandwidth is unlimited (mine is), who wants ads (I don't). Still, obviously some folk find it useful. That's their choice, but I agree with you, Geoff: not for me. EDIT: Just seen your post, Sarah, should have read it before posting my response. So, non-cheapskates can ignore my post.

Its not that friendly tbh. But like I said for posting photos on the move its very good. By far the easiest method. I have no idea about consumption though. I shall try it tomorrow before leaving France. May post some random photos as a test.
