Thanks Liam, I was there last weekend and I adore the place, woodland and forestry walks are my favourite and I could walk for days there and not see the same thing twice. I stayed on the caravan club site this time but I prefer the other site, it's less structured and less "rules" but the downside is there's no leccy and the facilities aren't great but I always use our own, fees are a bit expensive but still cheaper than the caravan club site and you have full access to the country park (£5 per day parking usually) The camp site inside the park is run by Golden Coast
The beach is fantastic, I posted a picture in another thread on Sunday? Part of the beach is for humans only in summer but there's miles of dog friendly beach. Gets pretty windy though!
It's a great location for a rally/meet
There's a steam rally there in September.

Sounds good.
Such a pity it is in Wales. It's a terrific ths, Jim. There's lots to do in the park itself but you're right on the 8 miles of beach too, so plenty of exercise for your dogs. My Dobie used to love running along the sands and swimming there. Another advantage is the fact that you can come back over the bridge into civilisation England without having to pay! (Sorry, Kay - it's just a joke). They could hardly charge people to get back into England, no-one would pay? Paying to get into Wales is a privilege

Isnt the severn Bridge owned by the French? so in fact we are paying a French toll to get there. There should be aires then and decent cheese by my reckoning then.

People pay to get into Wales !!!!!!!
Well, years ago the victim used to pay the executioner to do a good job. I suppose the principle is the same.

Anyone got a map of them or list of POIs? BTW, for visiting Fruitcakes, fresh water and toilet dump can always be found at Tutts House.

As long as we do it consecutively, not concurrently, it'll be okay (the drains couldn't cope otherwise).
