I've ordered the Dunlop kit for ze Tugmobile. Should be here next week. It'll prolly piss down for weeks so I can't get it fitted.
If I go inkermoon incomm quiet suddenly, you'd better send the rescue services round to release me from under the veehiccle.
If it works well, maybe we should have a whip round and get a kit to attach to Bazza's legs.

What does it do that your van doesnt already do?
I can see the advantage of having it fitted to my knees though. They are foooked.

Unless Tugs and Blu can lose about 10 stone each, their air suspension will need to be filled with Helium.

Hopefully support the back end a bit for when I've got the scoot on the back plus water in the tank which is right at the back too. Also my van rolls a lot when going round roundabouts, and rocks a fair bit when passing trucks 'n' stuff. I need to carry all this stuff, cos I'm going holidayin' with Sandra and Albert and we're gonna teararse round Scotlandshire and the islands on our scoots. Sandra will be on the back of mine, cuddled up tight to me, so eat yer heart out Bazza. You're past history as Sandra's bit on the side. Mwahahaha.

I ask because a few people have mentioned scooters effecting the handling but I have never noticed any difference on ours but its on an extended Alko chassis with less of an overhang than most vans. I cannot compare it to anything else though as ive never had another van. Hank handles really well and I can fling it around like white van man with our without a full load and the scooter. I wouldnt want to think any replacement would handle like a bag of shit or need upgraded suspension. I doubt you will be tear arsing anywhere with those two by the sound of it.

Mine is an ALKO too. Maybe the torsion stuff is knackered, but the ride height is within spec.

I had a A/S Rienza that handled like a pissed fat lady on a trampoline... all over the bleedin' place. Going round roundabouts and passing lorries on the motorway were nightmares - I never knew what the thing would do, wallowing all over the place. I had air-suspension fitted and it TOTALLY TRANSFORMED the motorhome, even with a motorcycle on the back. So I can wholeheartedly recommend this.
Alko chassis are normally much, much better than the standard base vehicles regarding handling, although the suitable air suspensions are a bit more expensive I believe. if you load your m/home up, air suspension really is the answer. It's often possible to remove it when selling the vehicle (if you can be bothered with the hassle) so it's not necessarily a complete loss when you do sell.
I will be supervising Tugs closely as he fucks up fits this, to make sure that he reports faithfully on all the disasters things that happen.
I might even hand him a spanner or two.

Wish I could get some air suspension, my hips are killing me. Feel a bit like a decrepit old biddy today. Soon have to have meals on wheels I think.
