Just now there are 11 people reading the thread about the Royals.
I presume, since they are watching, that they are interested. I am interested too, I want to know why they don't join in, although I suspect I already know why, Alan.

Aw, shame. As soon as I mentioned it they all went away.
What's wrong? If it's interesting enough to read then join in. I assume most won't agree with the general tenor of the discussion on the Royals. Well good for you. Get stuck in and tell us about it, Alan.

They're not the only ones watching, Alan, but those guys in GCHQ and Memworth Hill are even less likely to comment but if they do decide to join in it is normally about 3:00AM when the smash your front door down and charge into your house with big guns to arrest you under some bogus terrorist charge. Hey-ho, best sleep in clean pyjamas tonight. Bet Barry's now quaking at the thought of being dragged off to Guantanamo - or have I been watching too many episodes of ' Mad Dogs' today? (Great show, BTW, brilliant scriptwriting, acting, photography - only wish I'd written it).

Well if they are watching it will be you lot that gets dragged off to the tower if recent threads are being observed! Orf with their fecking heads! The stats for this site even though its slowly deminishing in active members are amazing. Lots of people look at it but never contribute. I can only assume that they either think its shite and bugger off or they fear for their lives should they post. Maybe both.

Shows we're doing an excellent job of achieving your dream forum! Nightmare more like! As this forum doesn't seem to have much to do with motorhoming or wild-camping, perhaps you would kindly remind the rest of us (including all those lurkers) what exactly your objective was when you started this project.

Well you wont remember but Rayrecrock of MHF thought he had been kicked off the forum for criticising the new owners. So that Saturday night I got pissed and created my own forum whilst drunk. Just one in a line of several things I have done over the years whilst hammered that then seem to have repercusions for a long time after. After all that it turned out Ray wasnt banned. The bloody forum was just broken. Silly sod. I dont think he even bothers to come on anymore! Pah. There you go.

Still Barry, it's not all bad here. I have enjoyed it. Perhaps I am alone in that?

More to come I expect if we can get people to speak out while keeping a sense of humour.

The best bits, and the parts I found excruciatingly funny, are your introductory pages describing the goods for sale etc. Nearly choked with laughter at the text and piccies of the gas detector and Hymer decals etc. More of that outrageously funny send up would be good (hint, hint). Really classically and genuinely funny! Sites' worth visiting for that alone - well, actually, that's probably all it's worth visiting for, so the onus is on you to live up to your initially high standard.

I think I created that lot last winter one night while on the lash as well. I will give it some thought but its Mrs D's Birthday tomorrow and I think she may well hide the laptop.
