I had a CVR, did not realise that if you braked when it was in 4 wheel mode it reverted to front wheel drive only. I wondered why it kept skidding when I thought I was in 4 wheel mode. . Boggers you are correct when you said they are a bit juicy on fuel.

I didn't realise that either, Joe. And I don't know why they're not more economical than they are. The CRV is considerably heavier, but the HRV is quite light and with a 1600 engine it's not underpowered or anything like that. Puzzling, especially from Honda.

Mine was the 2 ltr, great car but sold it because of the fuel consumption.
