sadly no. no idea why they call it a remote meter as it sits on a wall. I think the remote is because you can do various programming functions from it without needing to access the MPPT controller or battery. but who cares - it's called remote and it's got buttons!! it's this btw - www.sunstore.co.uk/product/ep-solar-mt-50-remote-meter/Phew! That's a relief! There could be a market for a proper remote control thingy though for motorhomes. One of my super rich clients at Downton has fancy log cabin where all the heating, cctv etc can all be controlled from anywhere In the world. Some mh owners are so anal about their vans I should make summut similar for motorhomes so you can watch your pride and joy remotely from either your fat arse in the living room or office. Switch on the heaters, check the battery life etc. Trouble is mh owners are tight Feckers so will want it for feck all. Some of us can control our Chateaux from anywhere in the world . But then we are UHNW 🙂. So we would , wouldn’t we ?

I have come to the conclusion that as it seems several times a day I am called a Twat by everyone on here, Tuggers thinks Im a twat and Mrs D also calls me a twat, my clients are too scared of me to call me a twat but I know they are thinking it that therefore there could be an element of truth in it and therefore I could be indeed, a Twat. Wamkers!!! Ah but you are not just a twat but a cockwommble twat.

Yers... Cockwomble twats are very special... They have "needs" too. That's why they're called "Special Needs"...

Yeah I know all that but there is none of this stuff for Motorhomes is there? All thats 240v as well. As soon as you make it niche and call the product either "Marine" or "Motorhome" you can treble the price as well. There will be some knob out there thats willing to pay for the ability to control their van remotely. Just think you could wander back from the pub and turn the heating on in the van and get it all toasty for your return or better still have a little screen on it and remote control stick and have it come and pick you up! And people say Im as thick as shit!

I think the ability to switch stuff on remotely already exists, our mate has a 2017 kontiki and controls loads of stuff remotely using an app on his phone He hasnt managed to get it to come and pick him up yet though

I knew I was a genius!! All we need is a way to pick up drunk motorhomers from the pub. We dont even need to involve their motorhomes, they could just ring up and we will come and pick them up. Ill call it a "Taxi".

had a solar panel fitted onto the new motorhome yesterday and went for the following 140W solar panel with a Victron Blue Solar MPPT controller Victron Cyrix 12/24 Battery combiner for hab and drive batteries Powermax 110ah AGM battery to replace the factory fitted hab battery and here's the boys toys thing - I can look at what the solar controller is doing using a phone app connected via bluetooth. wahay!! get in - none of your buttons and knobs and wall mounted display panels, this is yer actual app with it all wherever I go (assuming I'm in bluetooth range of the thing). since fitting, we've not seen a ray of sunshine and it's been pissing down and blowing a hoolie so I have no idea what the fucking thing is doing.... have to say the guys at Sunstore who fitted it yesterday did a cracking job and it's very neatly finished. they lent us a courtesy car so we could scoot around West Sussex while they did the work and let us use their hookup and wifi overnight so we didn't have to drive home late. would recommend them to others

Victron gear - great stuff, along with Sterling. Two very good companies with very good products. Considering the size and type of company, Sterling are incredibly helpful if you ask for assistance or advice regarding any of their products. Sterling Products
