Nice one Barry, you are undoubtedly King of the Trolls.
I see that you have already expanded the idea somewhat. What about if the expanded version (ie, Car, Carahome, small towed car and trailer) were fitted with flanged metal wheels and ran on rails instead of using busy potholed roads? You could chuck the satnav away as you are certain to arrive at your destination (subject to Strikes, leaves or snow on the line and maintenance work).
I think we are on to something here.

Der. Just have a rear panel on the Carahome that hinges down and forms a ramp. Carry the small car and motorcycle inside. Honestly, it's so simple it took someone simple to think of it. Errr, I mean, oh bollox!

I think we are on to something here. Rails, eh, now there's a good idea. Just don't build them alongside the sea like in Dawlish.

Errr, I mean, oh bollox! Carthago already do that, but I think they start North of £125K, so Barry's the only one here who could afford one (when he flogs of this site for zillions).

I think we are on to something here. Hmmm. How would you get it on the ferry? I think your idea is wasted on that forum and its no good me taking part in the Troll competition. Nobody takes me seriously. We need to corrupt somebody who is normally sensible. A Pillar of the motorhome forum world. That probably rules out everyone on here to be fair.

Hmmm. How would you get it on the ferry? Why, you would just get some big, strong stevedores and push it up the ramp. Simples!

Against my better judgement, I've given you a bump over there. Now let's see if anyone bites.

What if you added wings? you could call it 'Always Carahome' then? who needs rails pah! Kay, this is mans talk on this thread. Don't you worry your pretty little head with matters of industry, engineering and finance. Do you not have something more important to do like Crochet or cross Stitch or washing dishes?
Hey boys, don't you just love 'em, those sweet little girls.*
* Of course I mean any sweet little girl OVER 16. Nothing funny about me you know.

We'll see how macho you are when confronted by a few cockle bonnet wearing Meibion Glyndwr on your travels Since when do the sons of Glyndwr wear cockle bonnets? Mind you, I suppose it's no sillier than Scotsmen wearing skirts. How macho is that?
