No change this afternoon, It's planned to wake him tomorrow, I hope I will be there. I guess that no change is better than a change for the worse and if they are planning to wake him up then hopefully that is promising. Ask them to let you know roughly when they might try it, maybe give you an hours notice.

Have they given any information about other medical problems, such as the pneumonia?
Only answer if you want to.
Tell Motley to give you lots of cuddles and licks from us.

In my experience they will wake him when it suits them and not when family wants to be around. They only ever tried to wake Sarah when I wasnt there and I think it was probably deliberate, I imagine watching a loved one waking from coma and having a breathing tube removed is distressing for patient and family hence they do it when you arent there

I don't think they will know just when, first they withhold the drug that's keeping him asleep 😴 and then it's up to him, everyone is different, but I'll get an idea from the doctor tomorrow when I or he phones.
As far as the stents are concerned Geoff that went routinely, the reason he reacted again during or immediately after the procedure they have no clue the same as last time. Maybe as it has happened twice with him they will look into it deeper. I have suggested it might be the colour agent this hospital uses because his first event went without problems.
Not related, but my landlord has just told me he and his wife have known each other since they were 16 and were and still are Motorhome enthusiasts.

That's interesting the sister did say they won't remove all the things until he is awake, they have to make sure he isn't still thrashing about when they wake him, if he is they'll knock him out again I suppose, but I'm sure he'll be ok.

Phones at 10am he has been moved to another part of intensive care and is slowly waking up. I am to wait until after midday because he is still on the ventilator and I assume removing it may not be a nice thing to see as Kay said a few posts back. Now I can let my defences down, can't hardly see what I am tipping through my tears. More later after I have seen him.

Although he is more awake than he was this afternoon he is very confused, he is seeing animals in the room so I can take Brandy, Brandy is 2 Motleys away. He kept insisting to have my glasses so's he could mend them as that would be the last thing he could do for me before he dies. Professor Matschuck, you will remember his name I'm sure, I am in touch with him by email and he says I mustn't be to concerned sepsis is treatable, he also says he may know someone who can help out with Motley. Not over the worst yet.

Good news that they say the Sepsis should be treatable. All this confusion must be upsetting though Milly I imagine. Lets hope tomorrow sees some improvement. Mind how you go in all that heat as it gets even hotter these next few days.
