Took dog out for walk yesterday got back to van and my foot was coated in blood. Washed it and no damage to me. Checked woofer out and she had a big gash at the back of her pad. Got some hibiscrub so washed it down bandaged it up.got up this am and her paw had swelled right up. Went up to tourist info and brilliant young lass got us appointmdnt at vets and on Sunday. Dog has got 2 staples in wound + 2 jabs and lots of tablets €159 .well worth it.
Now back to holidaying.

When they bleed they bleed. Now were you walking bare foot to have such a bloody foot? If so I wouldn't do it again because it could have been you that was cut as well as woofer ( daft name to call a bitch).

Woofer? Only if it goes "woof", surely! What if it's a yapper? Or a snapper? Yelper? Whiner? Growler? I had a dog once that used to go "Bfff..." when he thought he heard a noise! Funny.

I nearly bled to death this afternoon because a seven month old black lab hadn't been taught not to jump at people when it was running at them at 100 miles an hour, nearly knocked me for six and as I tried to stop it jumping by putting my hands out her sharp claw caught my hand and tore the skin and it bleded, a lot 😥
