Of course you're 'Special', Dave - it's written in Block Capitals across all you case notes, as in 'SPECIAL CARE WHEN HANDLING THIS PATIENT'

A fleeting moment of glory Dave. I would have taken a screenshot and had it framed, honest.

'Fraid not - that's an extra £35.00 by TNT or, if you actually want it delivered, 100 quid by a mate of Barry who's coming down your way in the next few months or so.
EDIT: Bejesus, I hit the 'Like' button instead of the 'Edit' one. I'm getting ass bad as you, Alan.

Ah, TNT. I am afraid they have a problem with deliveries in this part of Spain. According to their web site the driver who comes to the west of Murcia was caught short on the motorway a couple of years ago. He managed an emergency stop, leapt out of the van and crapped on the hard shoulder, which was fine as far as it went. He then discovered that he had no bog roll. Being the Spanish gentleman he is he felt unable just to use a blade of gress, and in any case it being late Spring there was no grass to use. He improvised and tore a page out of the official TNT atlas of the Murcia region and wiped his arse using that.
Resourceful you may think, and indeed it was. He had the good sense to keep the page though it wasn't quite as legible as it previously had been. Unfortunately Alhama de Murcia is now obscured by a skid mark and as a result while he has had no further bowel bother he is now unable to find Alhama. Thus, for the last two years every single package coming here has gone astray. TNT are now saving up for a new map.
I did point out that Alhama is well signed on the motorway but it seems that the poor guy also enjoys very bad eyesight, also possibly the ability to read or to speak. That probably accounts for his inability to follow road signs or to ask for directions. He may also be deaf and is probably quite stupid as well, that bit is supposition on my part and I may well be wrong. Minimum wage recruitment and all that you know.
Still it does make me feel that the Spanish are very generous in providing work for the massively disabled, and that they are perfectly willing to facilitate that by allowing them to drive even though they would, on the face of it at least, seem to lack some of the abilities which might seem essential to a mere observer.
I can't help thinking that this driver could be a one man (or woman, who knows) mobile accident black spot.
So, thanks but no thanks, Alan.
