You might get away with stuff like that with those landlubbers, Pusser, but where I come from a mizzen is a mast. I guess you meant a nissan hut, made by the Japanese of very thin steel.
OK, pedant hat off now. Tum te tum te tum..........

Were we importing temporary buildings from Japan during WW2? Disgraceful I call it.

I had a Datsun Sunny back in the 70s. I swear Cornflake packets were more robust than the bodywork on that thing.
Even worse was that it replaced my beloved Dolly Sprint as we needed a deposit for our first house.
Does this count as Fred Drift?

You are thinking of the Datsun Cloudy.
Anyway .... whatever ...... it would have been the only thing sunny about you, you miserable old prat.

I hired out a Datsun in Johore Bahru I think around '64 '65 and I think this was before they arrived in UK. It was brand new and I was the first client and to me it was amazing. Then my Vauxhall Victor, bench seat and column change not to mention tyres with the cloth showing through was mended after a prang caused by my neighbour using it who turned his head to watch a young Malaysian woman hanging out washing in her bra and knickers. Straight into the back of some other car. How on earth could that have happened to a gay man. (Not going up someone's rear I mean looking at a woman).

@ your bottom line... "Nothing matters very much, and very little matters at all!" ... So why does it matter?

Now look, you senile old fart, I know the difference between a Datsun and a Nissan. Just to prove it, I attach a picture of said car with gorgeous young self draped upon it. If you can focus your rheumy old eyes, you will see the badge is a feckin' great D! OK? I don't know why I bother with some of you old gits, it's like working in a bleedin' care home. Wipe yer chin, Jumbo, have some pride in yersel'!
