I know Roger is sadly missed, but there were others that would start a funny thread Barry, politics can sometimes be treated as a joke, but even then the joke gets into an argument so no longer funny. I used to go to bed laughing about the stuff on here, so did Kay one of the funniest she was and it’s so disappointing to look on here now after a years absence and find nothing has changed, funny threads are being twisted into politics and just plain insults. Can’t turn the clock back Unfortunately and I doubt any of the old team will be returning. There really hasnt been anything political on here for weeks Milly really. Then again as said there hasnt been much activity at all. It did unbelievably well though to last over a decade. Only a handful of forums can say that. Brexit was when the rot set in of course.

I think most things have been done to death on the internet, it is now becoming a marketplace. Shopping and booking holidays ect is now the nets forte. We’ll all be reading books 📕 instead soon.

Joes not wrong. Ive noticed social media going downhill for a while now. Most of it is piss boring. I like the Wildies forum and have made some good friends on there but I find myself in more specialist groups now like Biker groups or Muso groups. The Bikers are of course a good bunch and a laugh but the Musos can be a right PIA. Useful though although I still cant sing. I do miss the good old days on here though from when the likes of Tuggers and Kay were around. Nothing stays the same, you just change and move on I guess.

It’s no joke here at the moment, there’s a power cut in the whole village and it’s pitch black without the street lights as well, I was half way across the room with a plate in one hand and full cup in the other when it just went pitch black, the village over to my right is also out the one to the left I see street lights, no moon to give a bit of light, I had to feel my way about which would have been a pleasure had there been a man in the room, but I had absolutely no idea how far things were away, finally found night lights and the lighter to get me about to find the torch. You will have to put up with my company until the power is back, luckily the iPad has 68% battery left. Now my coffee is stone cold.

I am back on air, the strange thing was I still had internet, the power came back for 5 mins then went off again and I had no internet the second time. All´s well now. It might have been a tree falling across the power line somewhere as it is quite windy.

Too late now, but it could only have be connected to the house internet because my Aldi is in the phone and I have to manually connect them it’s not automatic, my Aldi doesn’t work in the house only to send me messages that I’m in Poland roaming.

Well glad you're sorted. I always have my phone on me so if there is a power cut its just a quick swipe down to turn on the torch. Welcome back by the way. Good to see you posting.
