Sorry wrong flash. News flash Today there is a great improvement, he hasn't slept all day, just had a short rest after lunch, he has eaten quite well, walks without any sticks and found a little job to do in the garage. He has read a lot without dropping off and is a lot more cheerful. We have both been able to talk about Shade without crying for the first time. This is the end of the news flash. I return you to the normal service.

Sorry I thought I had reported on here as well, sometimes the Kindle don't work.
Two steps forward one back A very bad night, hip muscle and bone ache and burning in an unmentionable place because of the catheter.
I've been out for a few hours, took Motley to 2 vets for a yearly rabies etc. first vet was so full there wasn´t even parking space, so went in the opposite direction to another vet in another town, only me there so Motley was seen to quickly.
I thought I had my camera with me so drove straight down to the river to photograph what was a very frozen river yesterday afternoon, but the ice breaker had been through and the ice floats had floated away. I didn't have my camera, but I did have my Kindle in case of vet room waiting. Buggered if I know how to work the blooming thing, it was bright so couldn´t see the screen, I touched it in places I thought it might respond (usually that works in the dark:D ) anyway, I do have a video of my feet a bit of grass and some water and me swearing at the stoopid thing.

I went by car and I'm not exposing my bum to the wind we have today.
I wish you wouldn't look at me in that tone of voice.

Oh fuck it. He's off to hospital again. Last night I slept in the guest room upstairs, Hans sent me there because he was so restless with this urine infection he has, it burns. At 3 am he phoned me (we have 2 phones and 2 numbers the second one automatically rings when the first is engaged) he´d had an accident with the catheter pipe, trod on it and it had obviously injured him inside, very red pee in the bag. He kept drinking as one should, but after 7 am, nothing coming out, his bladder is full and he is in dreadful pain. Called the emergency doctor, he said ring 112 emergency which we did, he's on his way to the hospital 40 mins away. Now its the waiting game again, I do hope they see him quickly. I don't want to wish my life away, but roll on 3 months time when I hope all this will be a bad dream.
