Not sure I can do it that way, I'm using post codes to find stuff in earth, then making push pins, just re-doing them as they vanished.

Use the post codes to put a pushpin in earth then take the co-ord of the pushpin (on bottom right bar) and enter those co-ords into ITN Converter, then follow my instructions - easy peasy!

Phew finished. link to Morrisons LPG stations.kml fileHopefully some of you can confirm ones local to you, I think I got about 70 of them spot on, and the others very close to actual locations but using the data I got direct from Morrisons, and then trying to actually confirm and do push pins has been easy for most but some of their sites were not yet built in the google earth or street view. Thanks to Liam for holding my hand, show me how to do something and I'm fine, but reading it I've always been useless, thick aunt

QGIS looks rather complex with a steep learning curve; too techy for me, as I just want a simple way to build POI files and be able to export them to my Garmin Satnav, Google Earth, Microsoft Autoroute. If you can handle QGIS and understand all their documents you clearly didn't need any help from me, which makes me the thick aunt here, not you.
