It’s the wrong position for the hand to be raised Geoffrey. It could’ve been a lot worse so luckily I had nothing on my arm if I don’t have a jumper on my arm can you imagine how difficult it would’ve been to remove the fibres from my skin. The paper Clips have been removed this morning, And the artificial skin is not made from shark protein it’s some other protein so I won’t be snappier and I won’t be able to swim any better. Everything is going to plan according to the doctors but they haven’t given me a release date yet. He told me yesterday that one of the young men that pulled me away from the flames is the son-in-law of the girl she goes for a walk with every week and it’s upset him so much he’s having to go to a therapist. Hopefully I Will not have a delayed reaction. You know Millie is a survivor she’ll be alright.

I talked the last post and it made a couple of errors. He should have been Heike told me.
Today she gave the chap my phone number so maybe he will ring tomorrow.
Motley has settled down well and has stopped crying, Heike is allowed to comb him and clean his teeth as I do, ther is a lovely picture of him in sunglasses, hopefully Barry will bring it over from facts for you to see. They take him to lots of different places for long walks, they are worn out Motley not 😂.
Today I discovered the XL rubber gloves fit over my bandages so now I will be able to do more things for myself without keep asking the nurses, who by the way are all lovely in every possible way. As is my room mate Birgit. Any errors please use your imagination.

All is going well three doctors were here this morning and hopefully I will be going home sometime next week, Not home but to Heike. I asked the nurse this morning as I do every morning to take a photo of the arm it was a male nurse and he’s full of fun I’ll show you the first the photo he took off what he said was my arm and then I’ll show you my arm everything is going well don’t worry about me. This is Momo from Albania an absolutely lovely young chap and this morning I asked him to explain a few things about his religion and he could have had my attention all day because he was so easy to listen to.
photos don’t go as usual unless Barry can take them from facts please as usual.S

Hi Milly pleased your on the mend. Your accident is a warning to all of us with refillable gas, even though you probably took all precautions. As Cookie said the flash point could have come from the pilot light at the lower fridge vent a important lesson for us all to make certain that the fridge is definitely not on gas when filling gas. I know that I sometimes don’t bother switching the gas off and the 12 volt on when doing shortish trips as I travel between sites and I have been known to top up the gas if passing an auto gas station. Looking at the damage to your van I know that this is something I will never do again. Glad to read that your dog Motley was not in the van. You have taught me a very important lesson. So thank you. Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery.

Normally I would have turned off the fridge while filling the gas, don’t ask me why I didn’t this time. ,but you can see how far the gas reached when it’s normally only a little puff of gas when you disconnect the gun.
Im fine, the arm is begin to itch which is a sign of healing. I‘m not unhappy in here because everyone is friendly and they like to laugh.

Glad to hear that you are getting better Jan. We filled up the van today with LPG and as I haven’t done it for a few years I got the attendant to do it. Bit of a wimp out I know but I wanted to make sure that I did it right in future. We also turned off the fridge so thanks for that little reminder. Motley looks like he is having a good time of it and I bet he is being spoilt rotten. X Hopefully Birgitta is on the mend too, she sounds like an honorary Fruitcake in the making.

I have one idea which is unconnected with your fridge, but for later. Geoff
