Yep that was the way it was done until the Suprem Court ruled that these types of louts can peacefully demonstrate and stick their hands to the floor and that the police can do feck all about it. A little known case called R-v-Ziegler changed the way the law of obstructing the highway was interpreted. They are unelected but can still effect how the country is policed and what your rights are. As bad as the European Court of Human Wrongs…

Actually this brings to mind the old Stop the City marches where the great unwashed would disable a coach in the middle of London and then all sit around it to clog up the city. My old skipper was a lorry haulier in his spare time (well anytime he was near a phone really) and he was a really good lorry mechanic. We got called to some scabby’s who’s bus and a lorry had both ‘broken down’ in the same place and was causing mayhem. The skipper went to work under the bonnet and within minutes both vehicles were running. The poor little darlings were absolutely full of hate by this point and all linked arms in the middle of the road. Some of the old hands on the police van had dealt with their like before and quickly produced some test tubes full of a green slime/liquid. They shoved the test tubes down their trousers and held onto them through their pockets. Walking behind the protesters they dropped the tubes down onto the road and stood on them. The smell was absolutely horrendous and it just kept building. Nobody wanted to link arms anymore and they soon buggered off but not in their coach or lorry because they had both been prohibited from moving due to the defects the skipper had noted during his impromptu inspection. Both vehicles got towed and I doubt they were ever reunited with their owners. To this day I still don’t know what was in the test tubes or where they came from. We had other incidences with stink bombs but these ones had been bought in France and although toxic were nowhere near as pungent as the home made ones.

Fuckin' good job. These fuckers are abusing the right to protest. And they think that "causing mayhem and inconvenience" is the correct way to peacefully protest - it's not, and I'm glad this Government has had the guts to put a stop to their more egregious activities. They are a blight on the arse of society. Talking of blights on the arse of society, Vanessa Redgrave was at the forefront of this, back in the 60s/70s, and I'm reminded of the moment during one of her Westminster sit-down protests, when she was unceremoniously dragged backwards on her arse - through where the horses were temporarily stabled in the old New Scotland Yard - through all the horse piss and shit...

Yes because shutting down our right to protest is not at all another step towards Fascism. More Baz Bollox... Your right to lawfully PROTEST has NOT been shut down in the slightest. Your previous rights to cause trouble, cause mayhem, be obnoxious, disturb the peace, interrupt the lives of other people HAS been curtailed. The piss-takers have been taking the piss for far too long. People like you now seem to believe that you're ENTITLED to behave like this. You're not.

Actually we are or were entitled to protest as long as it's none violent. The Tories have even built in the "Steve Bray" clause which now gives them the right to arrest anyone they deem "annoying". He can be annoying of course but you are supporting a regime that is definitely on the road to Fascism. That's not annoying, it's disturbing.

If protest annoys or disrupts others then thats not fine ... Im sure if Bray was a pro-Tory you'd be calling for him to be killed like you do with Boris and Priti, thats how shallow and see through you are ... Bray has in his eyes become a celebrity and hes liking it, loving the attention from the cops and loves harassing Tories even when they are with their families ... I believe most folk see him for what he is, a crazy, sad, drunken village idiot ... Its prolly why your his friend ... Shutting up a village idiot is us on the "road to Fascism" FFS please think about what your posting as thats an insult to those who've suffered and died under real fascists

The one thing about Fascism is it creeps in unnoticed. People unwittingly support it and then one day when it's too late they realise that their own rights have been eroded away. If Bray was pro Tory my feelings towards his right to demonstrate would not differ.

Bray still HAS the right to demonstrate - just not objectionably and with amplification!

If Bray was pro Tory my feelings towards his right to demonstrate would not differ. He's been protesting aggressively at times, disrupted, annoyed and harassed folk since the fecking vote which is a long time to be annoying don't ya think? ... Thanks to those like you the old drunk believes he's now a celebrity ... Taking away Brays sound system is hardly a road to a fascist state is it FFS ... It's strange that you get so upset by another who protests from Dover about young males breaking into the country ... Mr Farage doesn't scream and shout while protesting but yet you get pretty hot about him
