Thanks to Barry we managed to find the white lifty up bit at the front and thanks to Gnomey's drawings link we've found the relay for the fridge and it does appear to have melted a little on one of the pins so think that is our problem, next question then:- Phill took the relay to local motor factors who is asking what amp we want, apparently there are two options! There is no text on the relay itself to give us a clue so after a bit of googling does 140a sound right? I don't know if 140 amp is correct or not. It sounds big enough and the wiring circuit is protected with fuses so it should be fine. You could ask on Fucts (I am no longer a subscriber). You may need to check the fuses anyway as I would not be surprised if one had popped.

Fuses in the Sargent PSU are all ok too phill is going to take the fridge vent off (if it ever stops raining) to give it a good clean as well ill try MHF

Fecking hell! Did we actually fix something and have a proper Motorhome thread? That's amazing that is. Do we need a Motorhome section do you think?
I think Jim deserves an award for that. As soon as I've sent you the Fruitcakes consultancy fee Kay I'll sort him one.
