Typical Ozzie pastime. Must have been no sheep around when they invented it.

I wish we had thought of the Soggy buscuit game when I was a Cricket Slave. My Father was a Durham County player. Famous in the 60's and early 70's. A published cricketing writer and playwrite (Radio 4) and columist for Cricket World magazine.
This meant that from an early age all we ever knew were Cricket Grounds. We thought all kids spent their lives being dragged from one match to another.
I was expected to follow suite and play. I lasted until I was about 19 and although I showed some promise I was more interested in organising the after game piss up or rogering the tea ladies in the store room.
Happy days

I heard about it years ago when my youngest brother mentioned in passing the he "played soggy biscuit" with his army friends. Stupidly I asked what soggy biscuit was. I have always regretted having asked. I could quite happily have lived my whole life without knowing that.
I don't know whether he was ever the loser, Alan.

OMG! I thought I was a man of the world, but clearly I was wrong and have led a mundane and uninteresting life.

The vetnurse is showing an unhealthy interest in this soggy biscuit thing, I bet she tells all her friends. They'll be having SB parties in her neighbourhood.

I am not sure if Women will be able to play the Soggy Biscuit game but it would be interesting to find out. Not sure it will work with crackers either.

I was thinking of it as a spectator sport. Why would you want to watch it, Tuggles?
