When I reverse the old Hymer, (LHD) in off the street through the double gates (which I have previously opened by the way), I have just an inch clearance either side of the mirrors. As the O/S mirror clears the gate to the right I have to put on a load of left lock to swing the rear O/S corner past the house wall, followed by right lock to line up with the drive and to avoid the fence to the nearside. A bit dodgy when I first got it, but now able to do it in one fluid movement (The driving that is). Roger Did he just say what I thought he said "The Hymer"? Ok so it was "The Old Hymer" so we need to take a vote on whether Roger Should be punished for uttering those words which must not be spoken. What do we think? Stocks?

There's a fine set of stocks at Font Romeu in the Pyrenees with a fabulous view of the famous mirror array.

Barry, I'm glad to see that you are sporting one of Armitage's finest flagpoles on your stern.

Barry, I'm glad to see that you are sporting one of Armitage's finest flagpoles on your stern. Yeah. Solid bit of kit. Have you battered anything with yours yet? They are superb for sending large French wheelie bins down the high street.

Not yet, but I haven't made a huge effort. My van finally comes back on Monday, so I shall be busy gluing solar panels all over it on Tuesday. My batteries won't know what hit them!

Wrong Knob head! Thats the edge of a house that is 250 years old which is why I bought it. I figured if it was around that long it might not fall to bits and it hasnt.
