OK, fuck the garden, I've off to Uist. That I have to see. I think it was a clapped out Ford Escort panda car with "The Police" written on the bonnet in marker pen from memory. It was the only vehicle we passed all morning. That must have been the band. Law-enforcement just have 'Police' sign-written on them.

In the spirit of "love thy neighbour", why doesn't everyone wave at fellow car drivers. Apart from the courtesy factor and friendly atmosphere it creates, it would be a most useful exercise for the driver to help keep the blood flowing on long journeys. As someone who in his motor home years has mistakenly waved at horseboxes and ice cream vans, while generally being too late to either acknowledge a wave or even see a pukka motor home, I feel I owe the driving community. I want to be able to bond as one huge car family all giving way to one another, smiling at one and other and offering help to those who have broken down because their cars are crap. This is the beginning of Utopia. Motor Home Fruitcakes making the World a better place.

off topic but nice helmet pusser Thank you lovely. I thought I needed to look a little more intelligent due to a renaissance in scientific, humanitarian, social discovery and research by dedicated members devoting their lives to ensure those in need can understand more easily why their lives are shit. As my dear Mum used to say to me when I had a moment of self pity; "There's always someone worse off than yourself dear". One day I hope to meet that person.

Maybe we should invent a special Fruitcakes wave. A bit like the masons handshake so we can recognise fellow Fruitcakes out and about. I'm thinking along the lines of waving your fist out of the window like your shaking a pepper pot. Ideas and illustrations please.
