Feck ... You've been down that dark narrow street again all afternoon accidentally drinking cheap beer ... Are you deluded? ... How many years pre-Bwexit do you think it was that we did better than China und the US? ... You haven't a clue what your drunkenly babbling on about have ya? ... Thanks for not answering my question n'all, how Bongo The point is, it doesnt matter how well we do, its pretty much a scientific fact that we would have done even better without Brexit. How could it possibly be any other way when we have delivered none of the so called benefits of Brexit and only left ourselves with more barriers and red tape? The point is you're drunk and if by some miracle you ain't then youre just plain silly und obviously are out of your depth on this topic ... How's the diet?

How could it possibly be any other way when we have delivered none of the so called benefits of Brexit and only left ourselves with more barriers and red tape? So how often did we out perform Germany when we were in the EU? Same applies. Its an impossible argument. For you that is. Germany got shafted in Putins war but your average German is still doing way better than we are. Ask the man in the street (voters) how they feel about how well we are doing post Brexit and what Brexit and the Tories have done for them. Its irrelevant now anyway. The real damage Brexit has done is not just to the economy, its to our leadership. Its fucked the Tory party and delivered us the worst and most corrupt government in our history. The result of all this is going to be probably the biggest Labour victory in living memory. Still feel like you "won".

The answer you cant bring yourself to admit is "never" When did we last have a war in Europe that so greatly effected economies massively dependent on Russian energy? Its not that we have outdone Germany its just that they have been badly hit. Our export levels are still lower than they were in 2018 in real terms. Its like saying I must be a better runner with my fucked up legs than Linford Christie when Linford got hoofed in the bollox and ended up rolling around in the dirt while I plodded to the finished line with a walking stick.

Would have happened anyway as the services sector was always one of our strengths plus services growing globally. If we were still in the EU service exports would have been even higher - look at the financial flight away from the City.
Notwithstanding our services exports strength these figures are for 2022 before the UK fully implemented post-Brexit import and export controls. The UK will recede down the table when the figures come out again next year, with a recent report finding that the value of total goods exports fell by £17.4 billion (4.4 per cent), between 2022 and 2023.
Last month's ONS report itself said this was primarily because of falling imports and exports of fuels. After adjusting for inflation, the UK imported and exported less in 2023 than it did in 2018.
Compounding that, Britain and Canada have paused talks over a new free trade agreement in January, meaning a post-Brexit arrangement with Canada is set to expire.
For a more detailed analysis rather than a bit of Brexiteer flagshagging
