As the weather is warming up I discovered that the clever little button on the dashboard which turns the air cold is not working. The little light in the switch comes on but the air is warm, not cold. Can someone please explain why this is - is the heat from the light warming the air and should I turn it off but if I do that how does the little switchie thing know that I want cold air? This is a real problem for a non-techie so I hope there is a clever expert who can solve this problem and cool me down. Thanks ever so much Alan

Your air con compressor etc could need regassing, cost £40 plus in most garages, you must use your air con a couple of times EVERY month to stop the seals leaking and losing the compressor gas

Softies! Open the blinking windows! What a load of hot air you're talking. Never had it in my day!

I agree with Joe, but have tested before regassing to make sure there are no leaks.

Come on over here and hand me up some plasterboard sheets for the ceiling, that'll warm you up proper like.
