And yet the one with it turned off seems to have stopped marginally sooner. I always felt ABS chickened out too soon.

You cannot drag a Pug as they don't have a proper neck. The lead just comes off.
Combine this with their very efficient braking system and you have a dog that is very good at stopping in the wet. I think their feet are Mud and Snow rated and would be legal in all European countries.

I believe they can be carried on a Zimmer Frame ....... which is incredibly useful for us.
