There are some numpties about though. Who would buy a motorhome right now anyway and without seeing it? If we are eventually allowed to go motorhoming again I was thinking I might get a bargain if dealers are struggling but maybe it wont work out that way, perhaps there will suddenly be a high demand.

You might get a bargain but you will loose on selling yours, swings and roundabouts.

You might get a bargain but you will loose on selling yours, swings and roundabouts. I wondered about that but it owes me nothing. I only paid £16250 for it twelve years ago. It will be in a different market place now though so may well could be in demand for families looking for a entry level cheaper van. Last time I looked on Autotrader prices for a twenty plus year old Kontiki were not a million miles from what I paid for mine. If I got five figures for it I would be happy though. Its got a lot of extras. One careful lady owner.

Asking silly money for some of them www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=kontiki+640&_sacat=0 First and last one are the exact same van. Mine has a Scooter rack which ill probably leave, Solar, MPPT controller, Camos Satellite TV, Gaslow. Paint work is a bit tatty and faded though. I guess I could take the Dome off but its getting on a bit now. Must be nearly 12 years old.

Yeah I know that, but the asking price especially of the bottom one is bonkers. Maybe it isnt. I have no real idea really. I guess we will have to see what happens with the motorhome market. I reckon ill be stuck with it this year. If the right van came along though at a bargain price it would be daft not to take advantage of that but I wont hold my breath. Ive been looking for about 8 years.

Spanish Flu lasted two years. This shit could easily go on as long.
