Loved Strasbourg when we visited a couple of years ago. There is an aire just as you cross over into France. Auberge de Jeunesse des Rivers. N48,56659○ E7,79975○ It's near the Ymca hostel. Free to park either in the compound or outside. Bus (route 21 from memory...pay on bus) and tram (pay at paystation on platform)to centre. YMCA gave us a map and directions. Large park and footbridge adjacent for dog walks.

Feck off wamkers , I got out o the Rhine as Besty is amphibious you fuds, had enougj of geany now heading back to France then will nip back over to do the tango fen run :-) bazza send me the gps for the falls no light take a peek Its here 47.673312, 8.608371 Streeview of the last car park (The grassy one you want to be in) goo.gl/maps/iVrRu you can see a few motorhomes down the bottom on the right. Keep going past the first two car parks to the last one. I think you have to pay though so thats you fucked. I think its only 3 or 4 Euros and you can stop overnight if you wish. The bit where you can dive off the bridge and swim is down the track away from the car park you can see in streetview. * * Fruitcakes accepts no responsibility for any loss of life of any its members who are daft enough to dive in the Rhine anywhere near the Rhine falls despite the chief fruitcake saying its perfectly safe(ish).

Scots folk are sociologically programmed to get as much as they can in life for FREE. That's why there are no pockets in a kilt. It also explain why I am a freeloading wildcamper.

Oh feck...I think I must have caught some Scottishire bug as those symptoms relate to what I am suffering from. I even picked a one cent up put of a puddle the other day. Is there any medication or a self help group I can contact? Vote SNP, Scottlandshire for the Scots and something free for me.

Go into a chippy anywhere in Alba that still cooks with Lard and order a haggis-pudding supper. Eat regularly, preferably not less than 6 days a week, and within a year or two you might just be cured - or deid!

Thanks Liam, this sounds terminal to me. I will start off with chip suppers and work my way up to haggis. I saw a nice tartan towel in one of the beach shops so I might just as well throw myself into the transition. Amazon are selling Scottish for Dummies so I will get a copy.
