I could post a photo of Tata Steel, looking at it from my window now! Off to the left I can see the coke ovens

Listen Nicholpong, I have just cut umpteen acres of lawn front and back but I need others to kick it off first.
Bigtree is a po faced miserable git ...... well he is on the subject of Scottish independence ...... and therefore needs to be taught a lesson (by the English, his Lord and Masters).
You need to read my post on the indecisive biking in France thread. I am quite proud of that one.

Sorry for going off on a bit of a tangent but I was very disappointed by the Angel of the North.
As I was travelling North I spied it a little way off and thought 'Ooh, this is going to be good'. Was it buggery! All I saw was the top of it peeking over the top of a hedge and it was gone. Lot of fuss about nowt. Maybe it looks better travelling 'tother way?

No. It looks as shite coming the other way as well. They rave about it like its some fantastic work of art. It looked ok the first few weeks before it went all rusty. The wings just look like they were bolted on as an after thought. Sack of pap if you ask me. The Quayside at Newcastle looks like sodding Paris now though. Definitely cleaned up its act. I wonder if its as good a night out as it used to be. Yeah. Geordie slappers wont have changed!

It looked better when wearing a Newcastle Utd strip.

You didn't think they cast it in one piece did you? Oh Barry, we despair - where are you leading us? Shall we ask on Fucts if it was cast in one piece?

Well I can appreciate its not one piece but it just looks like they stuck a couple of old wings off one of your old planes on as an afterthought. When have you ever seen an angel with bloody great iron aircraft wings stuck on it?
