I ordered a new lipseal for my Thetford C2 toilet cassette and have got the wrong one. I blame the unclear wording on the leisure Shop Direct website but they are not interested. I cannot return it as you have to destroy the packaging to get at the part. So, if anyone has a pre 2000 C2, C3 or C4 cassette, I have a new seal that I am giving away. This is the big main rubber seal for the hole on the top of the cassette.

Thats a bugger Jim.
We bought a toilet seat from Obi and discovered the fixing holes didn´t line up (they told Hans all toilet seats have the same fixing) he took it back, the woman told him they couldn´t take it back because he had opened the packing, `this is a hygiene article, how would he like to use it after someone else had.` Hans´s answer `It has not been used, it doesn´t fit and have you never used a public toilet´ He got the money back.

I'll check later but that sounds like it would fit mine. I fitted a new one a couple of years ago but I deposit thermonuclear turds so the seals quickly degrade.

The C2 is the 'bench' type toilet Barry.
If it is the right one, send me your address and I will post it to you. I don't want anything for it.

Thanks but we never use the toilet always use site bogs ... The thetford is used as a wine storer and gets quite a few laughs when having an outside barbie and I pour white wine in me glass ... Missus refuses to drink it for some reason

That is the wrong one, it is for older cassettes up to 2000. The website at Leisure Shop Direct only showed that one when I did a search for 'C2 lipseal', so I ordered it. My van is a 2006 model and it is no good to me so Barry can have it. I needed part number 23721 and have already ordered one online (sorry, I did not realise who you were Joe).

Me too, I think someone needs to be renamed. Joe could be Hughie or Hooey.
