Let us know how you get on with them? We've (our Club) not used them, but just had them recommended - it'd be nice to know how good (or otherwise!) they are. they replied quickly! they way they work is to take the existing damaged bumper, make a mould and create a new GRP (not flimsy ABS that most m/h's have) bumper/part, which then gets sprayed to colour match and fitted. to do this for my bumper and side panel (which also suffered), is going to cost just under £800 plus £100 fitting (all incl VAT) which I think is not too bad at all. the quote for a plastic repair last time came to that ex-VAT, and new ones from Rollerteam would cost at least 2x. takes about 3 weeks in total as they need the m/h to take the damaged units off to create the mould so it's booked in for mid-July. I'll let you know how I get on!! What is GRP? tínternet says its Gross rating point, well thas not a material is it. Why do they make motorhome with flimsy skirts instead of rounding off the bottom like wot they do on caravans?

GRP aka Glass (fibre) Reinforced Plastic - stronger than flimsy ABS

Because H y m e r have stopped making our (Exsis) washbasin, I had to have a replacement one made in the way Fats has described, in GRP. It's slightly heavier but much, MUCH stronger and more robust, rather than the thin but lightweight ABS plastic of the original. Your new bumper will permit you to MadMax your way round Europe, Fats - reversing into trees, signs, bollards, buildings, etc., to yer heart's content and with nary a scratch on your new bumper! Let the mayhem begin...

What a handsome Doggy. He detracts somewhat from the bodge job you done which I bet is why you placed him there.
Its a neat repair job that Milly. I would be pretty proud of that although you could have used white tape to give it that professional finish.

I dint do the repair, only the restyle We only had black tape, Hans keeps saying he´ll get some white stuff, but then it will be like decorating the bathroom, it will never get repaired.

He will be 12 at the end of the month, although he is quite deaf and has hip displatia the rest of him is good, no lumps and bumps over his body (unlike me ) nice coat and still has plenty of play in him, although his kind of play is walking about with his ball in his mouth (before we get rude remarks, he hasn´t got any) pointing out where Motleys ball has gone. Saturday he frightened us, he turned and knocked the side of his head, ear bit we think, on my leg, he yelled and walked away a fast as he could, but his legs were all over the place as if he were drunk. We came to the conclusion something must have happenend to his inner ear ballance thingy, it took a good 24 hours before he was back to his normal self.

Should go back to the old days with big stainless bumpers. These plastic jobbies are a waste of space.
Just an idea but strap some immigrants on the front and back .will work just like sensors but they scream louder

Yes but we don´t get stuck and have to pulled out by tractor, or lorry or whatever it was.

My speciality is side doors and Omnisteps... Gaffer tape's no good there. I find ignoring the damage works for me...
