Just wrote a long bit internet cut off and lost It's double shit, going backwards not forwards. Sedated again because he is so disturbed and trying to get out of the bed or rip everything out. Hands and feet tied even tighter. I only stopped about 20 mins. because I am finding it so upsetting, 10 days now.

Bugger. Thats bad news. Sorry Milly. Did you speak to anyone, did they give you any indication of how they can bring him out of all this or how long it might take? I Suppose they probably just dont know? What about the conditions? Sepsis, Pneumonia etc. Any improvements on those?

That's so upsetting for you. But it's not "Hans", you know that. He'll be back with you soon.

I do hope you are all right, but at the moment I am almost giving up hope. I am at home, I need to, I don't know what I need to but I do, that sounds daft, but I need to gather my strength again because at the moment I feel as if my world is falling apart. This hospital stay was supposed to be for 2 nights, we had hoped he would come home and after a recovery period be able to walk again without running out of breath and we could at last have time away. Uwe and Simone invited me for a drink last night, when I told them I was coming home today they agreed I should come home and have a break (they'd been talking about me earlier they said and that was there thought.) What a truly lovely couple they are. I keep hearing in my head what Hans would say if his head were clear and he would tell me to come home and go back when they say he is back in the real world.

If you need to recharge your batteries Milly then you must do that and not feel guilty about it. Hans is being well looked after. Who is looking after you? its clear you have reached your limit so take the time out.

I think you are doing the right thing Jan, being at home will hopefully recharge your batteries as you can operate on autopilot and not have worry about making conversation or be stoic when all you want to do is cry or just scream at the sky. Mottly will be able to relax in familiar surroundings and not get worried when you are not there. The doctors seem to just think of this a setback but it would scare the life out of me if I was in the same situation. Stay strong and be ready for Hans when he gets home as I suspect that he will have a hundred and one things to do and want to do them all at once. XXX

Awww. That pug looks like he has been listening to one of my songs. Getting hot here now an all, finally. Richmond is full of fat tourists in awful shorts. Catterick Garrison just down the road you would like though Milly (and Aldo and Boggers) as its full of fit young soldiers wandering around with their tops off. Might have to get the bike out again later or maybe I'll do an impromptu open air gig on the green or in the field. Glastonshagna!

I have just talked to a doctor at the hospital who spoke -English.
A set back, they have had to put him on the ventilation because he was having trouble breathing and have him in an induced coma again, the pneumonia is still there, but the sepsis not although because of the pneumonia it could return. He is now stable he said, he told me to stay at home and to call again tomorrow there is nothing I could do if I went. I said if a miracle happens and he wakes up his real self you will let me know won´t you, yes of course he said. So how much longer this is going on for nobody knows. I must accept what is happening and be patient and strong. Maybe I get hardened to it.

One step forward and one step back... Poor you. And poor Hans too. At least he's unaware of what's happening. Be strong. Our thoughts are with you. Xx

Xx I think Guido would make a good fruitcake, this is what he just sent to me. Ooookayyy. So it will take a little longer, this time...🤪 I think it must be a little misunderstanding between Hans and the old god of medicine. He tries to tell You both it is not healthy weather outside - so You should stay inside anyway.... Do not loose hope! It will settle!!!
