I gave up Tel. How can you help a man who can't find a fecking starter? I hope a man who knows comes along soon Blu. I suspect you're about as able as Barry. Agree Ernie, make all drivers take a BASIC car mechanical test at licence renewal time, that'll free up the roads for us folk. At least get blu and Barry off the road. Oh feck, I've just tempted fate, ain't I a dick. Remember ma Da's MK1 Cortina, the starter chewed up the fly wheel ring gear until it jammed often, can still see my Ma's face in the kitchen, new ring gear in the oven and the fly wheel in the freezer.

Listen very carefully, I shall say zis only once.
Crawl under the front of the van near the drivers side. The starter motor is at the back of the engine, roughly just inside the drivers side wheel arch. It looks like a big silver turd with a little silver turd on top.
While you are under, look for a cheap and nasty looking braided earth connector from gearbox body to chassis. Give it a good looking at.

What did you do to fix it ?
Look at it
Curse at it
Pull the wire
Send the dug in
Others here could benefit from your mechanical skills....
And no I won't pay £99:99 for an update.

You tosser, we gave you the right advice, we just aren't familiar with your vehicle. Your bit was just finding the fecking starter and wiggling the fucking earth strap which I fucking told you to do hours ago. Wamker.
