The click you're hearing will be the starter solenoid. Its a small cylindrical bit fitted on top of a larger cylindrical bit. The larger of the two is the starter. Trace the click.
If the starter is stuck you can try rocking the van, in 4th of 5th gear with the handbrake off just to move the starter gear a little bit and free it. Not much movement is needed, then try starting it again.
But first, do the ignition lights go out or get very dull when you hear the click. If so it's an earth. Possibly the earth side of the battery connection. Wiggle the battery terminals and see if they're loose. If not not it may be the earth strap from the engine to the body.

Bad luck Buddy. Still, it will make you easier to find when I get over that way. Don't forget to fill up with beer.

Blu you twat, going by your selfie you are in Australia, no wonder you can't find the starter motor if you don't know where you is.

Hope you get it sorted blu, if your lights don't dim when you try to start it, that's an indication that the pre engaged starter solenoid hasn't kicked in to power the starter. If the lights dim it's due to the power drain to the starter rotor.
As Ernie says, could be an earth problem, also could be a faulty pre engaged solenoid.
Hope your breakdown guys sort it, if not release the dug !

If if all else fails, ask your wee mate cabby, he'll get you spitten blood.
