What a roller coaster ride for you both, Barry's right (for once) Hans needs to recover properly in hospital or you will need hospital care. Time for tough love, nowt worse than a head strong old git, look at the ones here, just manage Hans the way you boss us about.
Tell him he has to stay in hospital as it's too cold to travel home as his catheter tube and bag will freeze, and what mess a burst tube would cause. :-D
Hoping for better news, stay strong.

Your all correct for a change If we were 25 years younger He would be able to fight off the infection easier and I would cope better especially if the hospital was 10 minutes away and not 40. He did say not to go today, but he has nothing with him except the Kindle to read, I took that with us yesterday in case we had to wait to be seen. It would annoy him if he can't shave. I think he realises he must stay there and get this infection under control, I am not even sure he didn't do any internal damage when the tube got the yank. We haven't made wills yet either, we thought with no children or relatives it wouldn't be necessary, but apparently in this country even though everything is in both our names that ain't necessarily so, but a home made will will surfice.

Its for the best Milly for both of you. Its important you look after yourself as much as anything and if your too tired dont go in. Its a pity there isnt somewhere for you to stay near the hospital. Might only be a few days but even if its a week its better than this carry on. For both of you.
Maybe I should organise an "Admin" visit and come and look after you both. No, dont thank me. Do you have Leffe?

I´ve been, I'm back. Had to go because the doctor wanted all his heart history and the recent hip info. The doctor came while I was there and said he may be able to come home tomorrow, the `water´ is clear, they are giving him intravenous anti bionics which I think work faster. He's in a room with 2 other men in the same boat as him, they are getting on his nerves talking a lot of rubbish he says. The food of course is not to his liking so he'll probably loose the few ones he put on.

Sounds encouraging but try and make sure they are totally happy to let him go this time I would say.

Where is Tuggers when we need him. Well maybe the Fat Controller in his kayak can help tow them out of trouble. But seriously, can he come home if they are giving him intravenous biotics? Is that on a drip or by injection? - either way can it be continued at home? and surely it will need longer than tomorrow to know if they have successfully zapped the infection. I have not been impressed by their handling of things so far and I urge caution.

Barry
I think you should change the title of this thread - it is a bad omen - it has put the Hex on poor Hans. Ask Jan what she would prefer.

I've come up with a sensible heading now so you don't need to worry Barry. I think Triggers suggestion would confuse us all, whats the `hopping´for ?
