He's been cutting the grass today cookie, put on 1 kg. Sleeping better and getting stronger by the day. The corner has been turned, just needs to get fit enough to have this TURP op done and I may have a new man.

You can't keep a good man down . Yesterday, or was it the day before, I loose track of time, anyway up, he was using the chain saw cutting off some branches, this morning collecting the branches in his mower trailer, had a rest and then cut the grass. He didn't fall asleep this evening either which is a miracle in itself. On Tuesday he see's the urologist, I may or may not be allowed to go with him because Jayjay the urologist keeps trying to steel me from him , they will probably discuss when it's best to get the job done. He's had enough practice with these catheters, another change on Tuesday, but with the operation he will be asleep.

Great news for both of you, Mildew. But I echo what Baz has said about him doing too much so soon after some stressful stuff. Good luck to you both.

As above Mildew, I think that is why my missus is still not to good, always doing something and did not know when to stop and rest.

As above Mildew, I think that is why my missus is still not to good, always doing something and did not know when to stop and rest. He's been very busy this afternoon, making a top for a beer can, to keep the flies out in the summer His machinery is like Barry´s Guitar is to him, he hates it when he can´t hear it wizzing round cutting a bit of metal or wood. He's improving everyday.

I'm so pleased that he is feeling stronger and wanting to do more. Like everyone has already cautioned, don't let him over do it, break it down into one hour of work equals one hour of rest.
We have been revamping our ensuit (well I'm knocking the bejazus out of it) and on Friday I had to knock out a wall and cart all the bricks to the tip. I was absolutely knackered by the end of the day, that big sledge hammer seemed to weigh a hell of a lot more than it did thirty-odd years ago. None of us are getting any younger and I am guilty of forgetting how old I am.

But then there are those who prefer brute force
