Sounds like good news.
Did you sign the forms? If so when will they do those two processes - maybe wait for a bit more strength in his body. Probably no rush till they know he does not need dialysis machine there.
Wolfgang and his team seem to be determined to send Hans home recovered, even via a new clinic, which determination must be a great support for you. That support you are communicating to Hans. It will be interesting for you to learn from Hans what he remembers of all the procedures and your supporting visits - maybe more than you realise now. It is probably keeping him going.
I am back in Poland now, but we are still rooting for Hans and you.

Fantastic news! He's gone from comatose to chatting with you on the 'phone in just a few days - amazing! It sounds as though the medical team have done an incredible job, identifying the various areas of the infection. And Hans is clearly a fighter... there will be no stopping him now, when he gets out. Watch yerself, Mildew...! Great stuff. Really happy for you. X Er, where did I say I was chatting to Hans, your imagination is werkin overtime agen Trigger.

Yes Geoff and I thought I had answered you, but nothing is there, must have pressed th wrong button on this fiddly kindle. I will sign them with Wolfgang tomorrow, then he and the surgeon discuss it and arrange when to do it. I told him today I will agree, it's better for Hans.

So when you said "...he answered the phone with "Hallo my dear"" you DIDN'T mean that you chatted on the 'phone?? It sounded as though it was Hans you were chatting to, being the prime object of the paragraph, but I now guess you meant Wolfgang?? Yes? It's Ok dear, I'll put it down to your "stress"!!

Your a couple of dope takers I recon, told you I ring Wolfgang every week day at noon, the first time he answered me he answered with "It must be High Noon" Listen very carefully I will say this only once more, Hans can't talk, he has to have a special bit in his Trachea pipe to be able to talk and that won't happen until he is a lot better www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwIZnJHVUgA

Oh, its a long time since I spoke to you, sorry. Heike is here, that means I don't have as much time to spare. Today she phoned the hospital for me, Hans had the tummy feeder implanted yesterday, so no more tube in his nose. He is still being lightly sedated, no dialysis which is good. I haven't seen him since Thursday, will go tomorrow afternoon.

Two quick reports. My shoulder needs no treatment, I have a bruised bone which should be fine. I can drive the Navajo again. Hans is on dialysis until Saturday, then they will give it a break to see if his kidneys can manage alone, he has a few litre of water in his body that have to go. His hands are once more tired to the bed because of too much movement, but he knew I was there, allowed me to clean his teeth and when asked to kiss me did several times during the visit, witnessed by Heike and Wolfgang so it was not my imagination and he tried to smile a little, but because of the drugs he cannot focus and has no control over his movements. Wolfgang said, he is still on his journey and has a good way to go. Heike thinks they look after him well.

Thanks for the update Milly. Was wondering how you were getting on. It is indeed a long journey but one I believe he is winning slowly but surely. So pleased you have Heike with you.
